My programmes and how they work

For clients wanting to achieve significant results in terms of weight loss/body  transformation, I always recommend the full 12 Week Programme including Functional Medicine (FM) Detox, as this is the time it normally takes to see real results and ensure that  the changes made will become sustainable habits to last a lifetime. 

​

Couples who embark on an 8 Week Programme together, with or without the FM Detox, find it transformative, not only for their own health but also for how they then implement the changes into daily life, which in turn rubs off on their family and friends. 

​

The majority of clients move on to some form of maintenance programme for the next 3-4  months to keep them on track and continue to manage their health goals. 

​

I’m frequently asked if this means diet bootcamp for 3 months. The answer is, not at all! I  will restrict/swop out some foods to show you the benefits of eating a nutrient dense,  wholefood diet to nourish your body, balance your blood sugar and give your body the time  to heal and flourish. But I won’t stop you having a glass of wine or pudding from time to  time. Life is for living.

Whichever programme you choose, remember that this is your choice and personal health  journey; I’m here to guide, motivate and support you as you establish habits to take you forward to the next part  of your life. Be mindful, listen to your body and remember the 80/20 rule (see my blog on  this).

All my programmes are tailor-made for men and women of all ages.

How it works

Whether you sign up for the 4 week Reset, 8 week programme or the full 12 weeks, I follow the same formula in terms of our session time, check-ins and level of supporting documentation. The only thing that changes is the duration of the programme and whether or not you decide to include the FM detox.

 

Every programme includes:

​

• 90 minute consultation call: We meet face to face or via video call for an initial consultation and 360 degree look at your health and wellbeing. I’ll gather from you an in-depth health history (to include all body systems, eg cardio, digestive, endocrine, urinary and reproductive) and ask about your diet, lifestyle and exercise history.

 

• We’ll then look at your health and life goals and co-create a plan for you to implement at home.

 

• 45 minute video calls every 2 weeks: These follow-ups can be face-to-face or via video call, to address specific health and lifestyle issues and update your coaching plan.

 

• 2x weekly check-ins on Whatsapp: To keep you on track.

 

• Support documents: I’ll provide you with a pack of supporting documents, including meal plans, recipes, shopping lists, exercise plans and referrals/recommendations to other wellness therapists.

 

• Supplement recommendations: If you need additional support in terms of supplements, I’ll provide discounted links to high grade, third party tested, clean brands, which you can then buy yourself if you so wish.

 

• You’ll also have one-on-one access to me via Whatsapp, Facetime, or phone calls if you need additional support or information.

FM Detox

FM Detox is a powerful weight loss, anti-ageing and wellness solution, which helps to  restore nutrient deficiencies while safely removing toxins from the liver – your body’s  natural vacuum cleaner. This programme is easy to integrate into a busy lifestyle and I’ll be  with you every step of the way to guide, support, motivate and empower you through to  sustainable change.

• If you choose to add the FM detox, you’ll receive daily check-ins by Whatsapp for the duration of the detox. 

• You can choose 7, 14 or 21 days duration. 

• Please note, supplements and FM Detox are not included in the price, but I can supply them to you for an additional cost.

8 week

8 Week Programme 

Parenting stress, hormonal changes, mid-life crisis, lack of direction and purpose in  retirement… the challenges of life can seriously affect your health and happiness, young or 

old, male or female. In just eight weeks, I will help you to regain control of your physical  and mental wellbeing, reduce your sugar and alcohol intake and have you making healthier  food choices, resulting in more energy, better sleep and a positive attitude.

It’s fair to say I begrudgingly signed up my detox programme and new health regime, but I did it! Don’t kid yourselves though I only achieved it as I had Lucy holding me to account and chivvying me along the way. This is not something you can do alone so working with Lucy is the only way, and the best way.
8 weeks on how do I feel? 10 kg lighter, happier, educated, embarrassed that I thought granola was good for me, sad I can’t eat cheddar 3 meals a day, energised, rested and ready to tone.
Lucy is supportive, knowledgeable, authoritative, responsive, caring and always at the end of the phone when you need strength not to tuck into those mince pies. 12 week

12 Week Programme 

This is the programme for you if you want to make significant changes, such a major weight loss. It follows the same principles as the 8 Week Programme but the extra four weeks are important for you to see real lasting changes that you can then sustain as part of a regular, enjoyable way of life.

90 days ago after finding every excuse you can imagine for years to not start it I started and committed to Lucy’s detox programme with my first fast day. With Lucy’s dedicated support the next 21 days provided an incredible insight into healthy eating, how to balance your diet, an introduction to the well being benefits of Pilates, Massage and breathing techniques and the importance of a structured exercise programme combining cardio, core and strength.
90 days ago I was unaware of how sugar, dairy and particularly alcohol was stressing my body and causing inflammation and pain in my body. the reset

The reset

If you feel you eat well and exercise on a regular basis, but still aren’t achieving your goals or still feel under par, this could be the programme for you. Take a deep dive into your diet and routine and address any sleep and stress issues. Together we’ll find the key to success.  

Duration: 4 weeks 

I did a one month reset with Lucy and it was transformative. Although I thought I was eating quite healthily prior, I learned so much about the impact of different foods on gut health and brain health. I now eat more so am rarely hungry (but have lost the weight where I wanted to lose it), which means I have also lost the need to snack. I have way more energy, drink less caffeine and alcohol, have cut out most sugars and still enjoy life :) I can see in my skin that I am better than I was and it has helped me with the mental resilience needed at a testing point in life. Knowing what to eat and when is not hard once you have learned it, but a lot of received wisdom is not right. Lucy puts you straight in an easy and unpressurised way and the results are all yours to own.
