No matter what you eat, how much you exercise, how skinny or young or strong you are, none of it matters if you’re not breathing properly.

I have always been fascinated by why some people, some snore and why

some people have straight teeth and no need for braces.

We were told, from a young age to take deep breaths to calm down, to

count to ten to destress when angry and that a few quiet moments of

steady breathing will help you get to sleep. Now I know why!

What we weren’t told is the effect of breathing has on every system of the

body. Nose breathing is essential for longevity and good health.

I now know that slow steady breathing is essential for:

  •  Reducing stress levels in your body

  •  Lowering your blood pressure and heart rate

  •  Reducing insulin spikes, so beneficial to those with diabetes

  •  Reducing inflammation within the body, thus helping with pain management

  •  Regulating your body’s reaction to stress, so less tiring and helping lifting brain fog and fatigue

  •  Ensuring you get a proper nights sleep

  •  Weight Loss!

  •  Improving focus and concentration – perfect for young and old alike.
