No matter what you eat, how much you exercise, how skinny or young or strong you are, none of it matters if you’re not breathing properly.
I have always been fascinated by why some people, some snore and why
some people have straight teeth and no need for braces.
We were told, from a young age to take deep breaths to calm down, to
count to ten to destress when angry and that a few quiet moments of
steady breathing will help you get to sleep. Now I know why!
What we weren’t told is the effect of breathing has on every system of the
body. Nose breathing is essential for longevity and good health.
I now know that slow steady breathing is essential for:
Reducing stress levels in your body
Lowering your blood pressure and heart rate
Reducing insulin spikes, so beneficial to those with diabetes
Reducing inflammation within the body, thus helping with pain management
Regulating your body’s reaction to stress, so less tiring and helping lifting brain fog and fatigue
Ensuring you get a proper nights sleep
Weight Loss!
Improving focus and concentration – perfect for young and old alike.
