The first thing to note is that none of the herbs mentioned contain any hormone constituents and they are NOT a plant version of HRT.

Plants go through the HPA axis and can change/alter the hormone changes menopause causes which will help to keep us to sleep better, reduce hot flushes and palpitations, reduce anxiety and consequently feel happier.
Many women prefer Black Cohosh, Don quai and Agnus Castor - all have different benefits and are equally effective. Personally, I prefer the 3 below as I am extremely fortunate to have minimum symptoms and am focusing on protecting my bones, heart and brain for the future.
- Known as heart food as it protects the heart and cardiovascular system. An added benefit is it aids collagen replacement so good for skin too.
Siberian Ginsing - An adaptogen and a menopausal must. Great for brain fog, stress management and supporting the adrenals.
Sage - The menopause herb, helps with hot flushes and night sweats by helping the hypothalamus (a gland in the brain which controls our thermostat) to get back into balance. This is a great herb as you get results within 2-3 days of use. Steep some leaves in boiling water, strain and drink.
